Suspending and removing members
There are two ways to take away a member's access to a company workspace, and they behave differently.
Suspend
Suspending a member is reversible. The moment you select Suspend, the member loses access immediately and can't sign in to that workspace — but their membership, roles, and history are kept, and selecting Re-enable restores them exactly as they were.
Remove
Removing a member is a soft-delete: it takes them out of the workspace for good. Their membership record is kept for the workspace's history, but they no longer appear as an active member and must be invited again to rejoin.
Protections
You can't suspend or remove yourself, and the workspace's last active admin can't be suspended or removed either — see Managing members.
