From sign-up to your first report

Eight steps, about ten minutes. Here is every screen you will see, in the order you will see it.

Watch the walkthrough

The same eight steps, end to end, in under a minute.

Before you start

You need three things: a work email address, about ten minutes, and a payment method when you reach step six.

Creating an account is free. Running a check is not. Each check spends one credit, and credits come with a plan, so there is a paid step in the middle of this journey. We would rather tell you now than at step six.

1. Create your account

he WalletShield sign-up form, filled in with a name, work email and password

Give us your name, a work email address and a password. Nothing else, and no card at this stage.

Passwords need eight characters or more, with an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, a number and a symbol.

2. Verify your email

We send a verification link to the address you gave us. Click it, and you land on this screen.

If it has not arrived after a minute or two, check the spam folder before asking us to resend it.

3. Sign in

The WalletShield sign-in screen with email and password fields

Sign in with the details you just set. From here on, everything happens inside your account.

4. Create your workspace

A workspace is where your checks, credits and colleagues live. Choose a company workspace if anyone else will use WalletShield with you, because credits are shared across everyone in it. Choose personal if you are screening on your own.

You cannot change the type later, so if in doubt, pick company.

5. Land on your dashboard

The WalletShield dashboard for a new workspace, showing zero credits available and no active plan

Your dashboard shows credits, your plan and recent checks in one place.

A new workspace starts with zero credits and no plan, exactly as shown here. That is the point at which you choose one.

6. Choose a plan

One credit screens one wallet address, so pick the plan that matches how much screening you actually do. Plans reset monthly. There is no setup fee and no annual lock-in.

7. Run your first check

The wallet lookup form with an address entered, the Ethereum network selected, and a Submit Lookup button marked one credit

Paste the wallet address, choose its network, and submit. The button tells you what it costs before you press it.

The check runs in the background. You do not have to sit and wait for it, and it appears in your lookup history either way.

8. Read the report

You get a scored report with the findings behind the score: what was matched, how the exposure reaches the wallet, and how far away it sits. Download it as a PDF and put it in your file.

A score is a risk signal, not a determination. WalletShield gives your MLRO the evidence to decide. It is not regulated advice.
