How scores map to bands

Every workspace starts with three default risk bands:

  • Low — from a floor score of 0.
  • Review — from a floor score of 40.
  • High — from a floor score of 70.

You can change the labels, colours, and floor scores at any time — see Configuring risk bands.

Picking a band

A risk score is placed in the highest band whose floor score it meets or exceeds. With the defaults above, a score of 65 falls into Review (it meets Review's floor of 40, but not High's floor of 70), while a score of 70 or more falls into High.

Where bands appear

Once a score has a band, that band's label and colour follow it everywhere: the chip on your lookup history, and the band shown on the lookup's own risk report.
