Personal vs company accounts

Your account can own two kinds of workspace: personal and company. Both work the same way day to day, but they differ in ownership and who else can use them.

What's the same

  • Identical subscription plans and credit bundles.
  • The same wallet lookups and downloadable reports.
  • The same risk bands and how scores map to them.

What's different

  • You may have exactly one personal workspace, but as many company workspaces as you like.
  • Company workspaces collect a legal company name (and an optional company number).
  • Company workspaces have members, roles, a members screen, and a security policy; personal workspaces do not have a settings screen at all.
  • In a personal workspace you do everything yourself; in a company, work is shared across members by role (User / Admin / Finance).

Neither type requires any identity or company verification (there is no KYC/KYB check); the company number, if given, is stored but not verified — so there is no identity check to complete before you can start using either workspace type.

Choose a personal workspace for your own use, or a company workspace when you need to share access and credits with a team.
